  • Dean Tsamas is the Director of Tennis at Gulf Harbour. Before his teaching pro career, Dean successfully played four years at Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating with the most wins in FGCU’s D1 history. Upon graduating, Dean became the first full-time Assistant Coach at FGCU, leading the Eagles to their first ever NCAA tournament appearance in 2015. On a personal note, Dean competes in triathlons and has completed two full-distance Ironman events. He also retired from the Army National Guard in 2018 as an E-5 Sergeant. Dean is from Lexington, KY.


  • Alejandra Albers is an engaging, passionate, hands-on instructor with an extensive tennis background. She attended Tyler Junior College’s Professional Tennis Management program and won two national championships with TJC. She’s now the Head Pro at Fiddlesticks Country Club. Fun fact, she has a frenchie named Thor and a black lab named Zeus.


  • Adam Lane currently is the Director at the Players Club. Adam has lived in and taught tennis in 6 countries. In 2022 he won 3 senior ITF titles and finished the year ranked #23 in the world in mixed doubles in his age category.


  • Alex Vega was born in the United States, but raised in Venezuela where I played tennis since the age of 3. He started coaching tennis at his old tennis academy when he was 15 years old. He currently a teaching professional at Pelican Landing Community Association. Alex is enrolled at FGCU, where he was the former tennis club president for 2 years. He is studying civil engineering with a minor in math and in real estate.


  • Alex Sitnikova is originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan where she earned a degree in Physical Education and Economics. Alex played at Eastern Kentucky University for 3 years where she earned Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year honors! In addition, Alex was a 3-time OVC 1st team honoree. In her 3 years at EKU she won 2 regular season titles, 1 tournament win, and made 2 NCAA tournament appearances. Alex has taught all ages as a tennis pro in Kazakhstan, California, Kentucky and now Florida. Most recently, Alex served as the Head Coach for both the men’s and women’s teams at Georgetown College. Alex has been a Pro at Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club for two years.


  • Alison Lane is currently the Director of Racquets for Collier’s Reserve Country Club located in Naples, Florida. Alison was an All-Ivy Lacrosse player for Dartmouth College. She started her tennis coaching Career in Kiev, Ukraine in 2004. Since then, she’s coached and directed at clubs in St. Thomas, South Carolina, Australia, Puerto Rico, and “The World” private global cruise line. Her husband Adam, and their two children Kayden and Wyatt, have been back in Southwest Florida since 2016.


  • Ben Albers is the Head Pro at Verdana Village in Estero, Florida. Ranked #1 in the state of Texas for 3A High School Tennis in 2009-2010, played #1 doubles and #3 singles at Letourneau University in Longview, Texas in 2010-2011, Graduated from Tyler Junior College with a degree in Professional Tennis Management in 2014. In my spare time I like to drink Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain.


  • Andy Mabadi grew up in Chicago Illinois and attended NIU university playing collegiate tennis. He currently works at Grandezza Resort as the assistant tennis Pro and Andy is a big Chicago Cubs Fan!


  • Chad Dyer is the Director of Racquet Sports at Heritage Palms. He taught tennis in Central Kentucky for over 25 years before coming to Heritage Palms.


  • Corey Knapp is the Racquet Professional at Pelican Sound. Corey is originally from Ohio where he grew up in a town called Westlake. He has been in the tennis industry for more than 20 years . Now he spends most of his time playing pickleball, video games, and bowling.


  • Daniel Camacho was born in Ibague, Colombia and started playing tennis at the age of 9. He moved to Fort Myers at 11 years old. He attended Cypress Lake high school which he played all 4 years of varsity tennis and made state semifinal as a sophomore. He currently works as a tennis professional at Heritage Palms for the last two years. 


  • Elliot Debolt is a south Florida native, originally from Fort Lauderdale. Starting as Estero High Schools #1 singles and doubles player for all four years of varsity Elliot reached the singles and doubles state tournament senior year. After high school he attended FGCU studying environmental studies. During that time developed a love for teaching the game to others. Currently, Director of Sports at the Quarry of Naples. When not at work or on the tennis court he enjoys spending most of his free time on the water.


  • Geoff Talley is originally from Texas where I he was a number 1 ranked doubles player alongside his partner Ben Albers (head pro at Verdana). From 2012-2018, he served in the US Navy. After his enlistment, he attended the PTM program at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. He moved to Fort Myers in November of 2023, and is now the Director of Sports at The Plantation at Somerset.


  • Jean Perez was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. He’s currently working as an Assistant Pro at Gulf Harbour Yacht and Country Club in Fort Myers since 2021, and Senior Teaching Pro at Siasconset Casino Association in Nantucket during the summers since 2018. A fun fact about Jean is he’s a certified bartender.


  • Jimmy Martineau was born and raised in Ft. Myers. Director of Racquet Sports at Cascades at Estero. Been there for 1 year. Played tennis at University of West Florida. Hobbies include golf and fishing. Captain in the Pickleball Pro League.


  • Joel Hampton was born and raised in Southwest Florida. He is currently the Assistant Director of Racquet Sports at Shadow Wood Country Club for his third season. He attended Edison College and enjoys playing hockey in his off time.


  • Kyle Edwards grew up in Atlanta, Georgia playing competitive tennis across the southeast. He accepted playing tennis at West Palm Beach Florida before transferring to College of Charleston finishing his collegiate career majoring in Sports Marketing. He has coached and directed at numerous places across the country such as Fire Island, NY, Aspen, CO, and Amelia Island, FL. He has been Director of Tennis at Bonita National since September of 2023. Fun Fact: Kyle is half South African where he continues to travel too to visit his direct relatives.


  • Paul D'Amico has been the Director of Racquet Sports at Palmira Golf & Country Club for the past 5+ years. Former Men’s Head Tennis Coach at the US Naval Academy. 2018 USPTA National Clay & Grass Court Championships Semi-Finalist. Tournament Director of the Larry Turville Seniors Men’s Championships.


  • Rob Vinal is from Scituate MA where he played #1 graduating in 1986. He also played in college @ North Adams State college where he also ended up playing #1. He currently works as Director of Tennis & Pickleball @ Breckenridge Golf & Tennis in Estero. He currently started woodworking in his free time.


  • Ted Heiser is the Director of Racquet Sports, The Place at Corkscrew, Estero Fl. President USPTA Estero/Bonita FL. Division. A full-time resident of SWFL for six years, from Lincolnshire, Northshore Suburb of Chicago, Il. Played collegiately at The University of North Florida. Inventor of The GripFixx, a grip training device for tennis and pickleball.


  • Tim Pleasant is the Asst. Director at Gulf Harbour Country Club, played college tennis at Eastern Kentucky University. Former Director of Youth Performance at the USTA National Campus. From Ironton, Ohio.


  • Trey Seibold is a native Floridian and just started working at Somerset at the Plantation as the Head Racquet Specialist. He attended to UCF. His hobbies include surfski paddling and triathlons. He will be competing in his 5th half Ironman and 4th full Ironman in the next 2 months.

  • Connor Molina is the new Director of Racquet Sports at West Bay Club in Estero, Florida. Connor grew up in Florida and came to the SWFL area for college at Florida Gulf Coast University. He was fortunate to be the president of the club tennis team at FGCU. In addition to playing on the club team, he traveled the country playing father son national tournaments with his dad who is also a director of tennis in Tampa, Florida!


  • Carlos Baez is originally from Hoboken, NJ. His family is from Puerto Rico where he has worked during his Tennis career. Carlos currently works as a Tennis Professional at Bonita Bay Club since 2021. During his free time (summertime) he enjoys competing playing tournaments in the ITF Senior Tour.


  • Chrisitan Karlovits grew up in New Jersey.  He moved to Florida in 2010.  Currently, he is the Director of Sports at Valencia Bonita.  Commissioner of Southwest Florida Tennis Pro League, holder of clipboards, and lover of puppies.


  • Christie Pollin originates from NJ but have been in Florida for 14 years! She is the Director of Racquets at The Club at Olde Cypress for 4 years now and the head pro previous to that. She played college tennis at the The College of NJ. Outside of tennis, her passion is for animals. Recently, she went back to school and received a degree in Zoo and Aquarium Science and am finishing a different degree to be a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator.


  • Dylan Jicha is the Racquet Sports Director at Babcock National Golf and Country Club. He is an experienced professional, having coached around the world and was the Junior Davis Cup coach for Guam.


  • Eddie Osorios is from Colombia. He has been teaching tennis for over 20 years. He is certified for the PTR and ITF. He currently works for Strand Country Club, Ritz Carlton Hotel and Stonecreek. He has been living in U.S. since 2017.


  • Frank Fourgeau, Aka Frenchie was born and raised in France and played all his junior tennis over there before migrating to Florida in 2005. Presently at Pelican Sound for the last 10 years, frenchie was the Head pro at Gulf Harbour, Legends and Westbay previously. On his time off the court he is an avid scuba diver and loves the peace and quiet that it brings him.


  • Jeff Timmer for 21 years as the Director of Racquet Sports for Colonial Country Club.  Lived in Fort Myers for over 50 years.  Once warmed up Bjorn Borg before Nuveen Masters in Naples.


  • John Ramsey is currently the Director of Tennis at Kelly Green's Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida for the past 13 years.  Also, he is serving as the Region 7 President for USPTA.


  • Laura Brown is the Head Tennis Professional at Pelican Landing Community Association. She hails from Rehoboth, Delaware where she ranked as high as number 1 in USTA 18 and under. After high school, she would go on to compete in college at Salisbury University. After graduating from Salisbury with a B.S in Marketing, Laura would move to Florida to live with her best friend from college.  In her pastime, she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, creating art, and reading. 


  • Manuel Encalada AKA Manny. He was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States 20 years ago. Played Davis cup for Ecuador. Ranked top 50 in the world in juniors. #1 in his country in all ages. #3 in South America in juniors. Been the sports director at the club at the strand for the past 6 years. Love relaxing and watching tv.


  • Melanie Allen is the Head Pro at the Legends Golf and Country Club in Fort Myers. She loves her job and her members and truly believes she has the best job in the world. She grew up here in Fort Myers and trained where she is currently employed. She played D1 college tennis at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2015-2019. Go Army. Beat Navy. Fun fact: She was scuba certified by the Mexican Military Special Forces in 2016.


  • Mike Barnes is the tennis director at Worthington CC. He is a long-time participant in the pro league and played my collegiate tennis at Eastern Kentucky university. He was formerly USPTA player of the year in singles and doubles.


  • Mike Lawver was born and raised in Columbus Ohio and attended Ohio State University. He moved to Florida in 1981 and have been involved in the tennis industry ever since. He is an elite tennis professional and have been a USPTA member since 1991. Also, he was the winner of the USPTA Florida Grand Prix men’s 35 singles in 1997. He has participated in the SWFL Pro League every season since its inception. (late 1990’S) He is the former Director of Tennis and Pickleball at Heritage Palms Country Club from 2000-2024. Now, he is Head Tennis Professional at The Club at Olde Cypress.


  • Patrick Segodo is from the Benin Republic. Former Semi Pro, Former Davis Cup player. Tennis Head Coach at Lake Kennedy Racquet Club Since August 12 2024. Scorpio.


  • Reggie Woltz is Head Pro of Pickleball and Tennis at Valencia Bonita in Bonita Springs. Moved to SWFL last year after coaching in Raleigh for six years. Attended UNC-Chapel Hill and won two club tennis national championships playing top three singles.


  • Rey Greenlaw is the Head of racquet sports for Pelican Preserve. Played high level junior Tennis and college level tournaments. Currently playing professional pickleball.


  • Growing up in Ashland, KY, Rob Berry took an early interest in tennis. Traveling and playing tennis tournaments from grade school to high school, to Division 1 College Tennis. Rob has been a Pro at Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers for 4 years, where he enjoys the esprit de corps of the Colonial tennis community. Rob also enjoys playing pickleball in his spare time.


  • Sam Munze is from New Jersey. Attended Methodist University. Club and Title : Going into the 6th Season as the Head Tennis Professional at Bonita Bay Club. In her spare time, she loves riding motorcycles and taking fun trips to different states to ride. 


  • Originally from Fresno, California, Scott Kendrick is currently serving as a tennis assistant at Kelly Greens Country Club. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Scott has honed his skills in coaching players of all levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. His long-standing dedication to the sport, combined with his expertise, makes him a valuable asset to the tennis community at Kelly Greens, where he helps players refine their technique and develop their love for the game.


  • Shawn Hedrick is a native to this area, born and raised in Ft. Myers, Florida. He is the Director of Racquet Sports and Athletics at Pelican Preserve for 2 years. He earned a full Division 1 tennis scholarship at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Fun fact about him is, he has a mirror identical twin brother!


  • Travis Raque is the Director of Racquets at The Club at Gateway in Fort Myers, formerly the Head Tennis & Pickleball Professional for The Club at Olde Cypress in Naples. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, he is a former Kentucky State Champion and the 2003 USPTA Kentucky Tennis Professional of the Year. He is the all time winningest player in University of Cincinnati history, holds a 5.0 rating, and is USPTA Certified in both tennis and pickleball.
